On the 5th floor of the Ansin Building, the Digital Post-Production Lab (DPL) gives Film, Television, and Media Arts students the space to shape their work in post-production—from first cut to final polish.

The facilities feature state-of-the-art, industry-standard hardware and software that provide students with hands-on experience across every stage of the post-production process. Supported by knowledgeable, professionally trained staff and student assistants, the DPL helps prepare students for future careers in film and media.

Video Editing Lab

The Video Editing Lab is a 17-workstation lab with Mac Studios dedicated to supporting both intro and advanced-level editing courses. Other resources include:

  • Avid Media Composer with Symphony, NewsCutter, PhraseFind AI, and ScriptSync Options
  • Adobe Creative Cloud

Post-Production Suites

The post-production suites are prepared with Mac Studios and dual monitors, available to undergraduate and graduate students taking production courses. Other resources include:

The Post Creative Lab is a 28-workstation open lab with Mac Studios dedicated to supporting introductory level production and post-production courses. Other resources include:
