Bright Family Screening Room

Built for film. Connected to creativity. Opened in 2010 as part of the transformation of the historic Paramount Theatre, the Bright Family Screening Room is a 174-seat venue located at the heart of the Paramount Center.

This is Emerson’s own movie theater. Named for the family of alum Kevin Bright ’76, LHD ’11, the venue is equipped with professional 16mm film and digital video projection systems, allowing audiences to experience both traditional and contemporary formats. A spacious adjoining lobby and close connections to the Paramount Center’s theaters, studios, and academic spaces make the Bright an integral part of Emerson’s community.
