Emerson Contemporary presents contemporary visual and media art exhibits and events in its public venues and public art spaces.
Public Art Think Tank
Aligned with the College’s commitment to civic engagement, the Public Art Think Tank supports artworks that involve audiences in discourse about important societal issues such as those related to social justice.
UnCommon Corner
The Emerson College UnCommon Corner brings music, entertainment, and community together in a vibrant outdoor space on Boston Common. In partnership with Harpoon Brewery and the City of Boston, Emerson brings free performances by local musicians to the UnCommon Corner, creating a welcoming space where Emerson and its neighbors can gather and experience the arts together.
WERS
WERS (88.9 FM) is Emerson College’s longstanding student-run and professionally managed radio station. The station’s programming includes 20 different musical genres and more live performances than any other station in the region.
