Incoming Exchange Students

Spend a semester at Emerson College in Boston or Los Angeles—two cities where creativity, culture, and industry shape everyday life. Through the Emerson Exchange Program, qualified students from official partner institutions can study communication, media, and the arts while immersing themselves in communities at the center of the creative landscape in the United States.*

In Boston, you’ll study in the heart of a dynamic college city surrounded by leading media organizations, publishers, nonprofits, and cultural institutions. In Los Angeles, you’ll live and learn on Sunset Boulevard while completing a semester-long internship connected to your field of study.

Wherever you choose, you’ll learn from award-winning faculty who are actively working in their industries and bring real-world expertise into every class. Beyond the classroom, you’ll gain professional experience, build global connections, and create your own story in a city that turns passion into purpose.

Students are expected to arrive:

• Late August for Fall Term
• Mid-January for Spring Term

Students are invited to attend all new student orientation activities and are required to attend all events specifically for international students.
