Opportunities span every corner of Emerson, from conducting research in our Communication Sciences and Disorders labs to collaborating with faculty on scholarly and creative projects through the Research Co-Curricular, and producing original films, performances, publications, and media. Support for Research
At Emerson, we foster a vibrant research culture that strengthens teaching and learning, deepens connections, and supports a community of creativity and collaboration across disciplines.
The Research Hub is a faculty-led initiative that supports all forms of research across Emerson. Through funding opportunities, collaborative programming, student research engagement, and access to essential tools and resources, the Hub helps faculty develop ideas, build partnerships, and advance projects from inception to completion.
Additionally, our Office of Research and Creative Scholarship (ORCS) connects Emerson researchers, scholars, and artists with financial support for their work. Over the past three years, ORCS has supported more than 350 internal and external grant proposals and facilitated the management of over 60 external awards.
