Students live on a residential campus in Lugano, with access to a range of on-campus housing and dining options, student organizations, and a close-knit international community. A signature Academic Travel course takes learning beyond the classroom, allowing students to explore Europe through travel alongside faculty and peers.
Apply
Emerson students may take courses that fulfill General Education and Liberal Arts/Perspectives requirements, with additional opportunities to progress toward major, minor, and Honors requirements when approved by their academic department.
The Franklin University Switzerland Exchange Program is open to qualified sophomores, juniors, and first-semester seniors in good academic and conduct standing. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. The program is limited to six students per semester.
