This is where sound comes into focus. Located on the 7th and 8th floors of the Ansin Building, Emerson’s Audio Post-Production facilities give students professional environments to shape the sonic side of storytelling. Designed to mirror industry workflows, the spaces support projects across film, television, and emerging media.

From sound design to dialogue and music recording, foley, and audio mixing, students work with industry-standard tools and software throughout every stage of the audio post-production process. Dedicated studios and specialized suites provide hands-on experience in the craft that brings stories to life.

Audio Annex | Ansin 705B

The Annex gives students easy access to the tools and support they need to create. Whether checking out studios and suites, borrowing microphones and audio accessories, or seeking assistance from the staff on duty, students can find resources for every stage of the production process.

Designed for film and video post-production, Mix A is a Mix-to-Pix studio equipped with the latest Mac Pro technology. The space gives students a professional environment to edit, design, and mix sound in sync with the moving image and includes:
