Darkroom

Develop your photos and your skills. The Darkroom on the fifth floor of the Ansin Building gives students a dedicated home for analog photography at Emerson.

Emerson’s Darkroom facilities consist of three areas: the darkroom printing room, the still film developing sink, and the motion picture developing sink. Inside of the printing room, there are 12 enlarger stations equipped with Beseler 45MXT enlargers. The still film and motion picture developing sinks support a wide range of film processing needs across both the photography and 16mm curriculums.
