Applying for the Film, Television, and Media Arts (BFA)

All first-year and transfer applicants to the BFA in Film, Television, and Media Arts must submit a creative résumé and sample as part of their application. Please pay close attention to the length and format requirements—we want to see how effectively you can present your work within the guidelines provided.

Submit a Creative Résumé

Your creative résumé should highlight up to eight projects and may be no more than two pages long. For each project, please include:

– Project name
– Production type
– Month and year completed
– Your creative role
– A brief, one- to two-sentence description
– The school or organization the project was created for, if applicable
– Any related recognitions or rewards, if applicable

Submit a Creative Sample

Choose original work that gives us a strong sense of your ideas, perspective, and creative voice. This may include short films, screenplays, scripts, storyboards, photography, vlogs, sketches, studio art, experimental work, or other original creative projects. You may submit up to ten still images, up to ten pages of original written work, or up to three minutes of video and/or audio.
