Emerson’s hybrid Graduate Sports Communication certificate program gives you a foundation of the important strategies behind those relationships. Through a 16-credit curriculum housed in the Department of Communication Studies, you’ll explore content strategy, social media management, event planning, audience engagement, and communication planning while learning how to adapt your message for different sports organizations and communities.
Designed for working professionals, the program can be completed in as few as two semesters through a blend of online and in-person evening courses. Along the way, you’ll develop communication plans and build practical skills you can apply immediately. You’ll leave with a stronger understanding of the sports industry and real-world communication experience.
