Latin American and Latinx StudiesMinor
The Latin American and Latinx Studies minor in the Marlboro Institute for Liberal Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies explores Latin American and Latinx political and cultural theory and practice in both historical and contemporary contexts throughout the Americas. You will critically engage with the legacies of colonialism, migration, and globalization that continue to pervade ways of being and interacting.
To complete this minor, you’ll take one core course and choose three electives from a range of topics, such as Collective Action and Identity Politics, Human Rights, and U.S. Latinx Literature.
