Environmental StudiesMinor

Housed in the Marlboro Institute for Liberal Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies, the Environmental Studies minor examines environmental processes, challenges, and solutions from a variety of perspectives. You’ll explore the relationships between people and the environment, focusing in particular on the sustainable use of natural resources and the causes, consequences, and communication of the complex environmental problems faced by human societies.

To complete this minor, you’ll choose four courses from a range of topics, including Ecology and Conservation, Meteorology, and Reading and Writing the Environment.
