Scholarships and Grants for Graduate Students
A variety of scholarships and fellowships are available for graduate students, which are granted by Emerson’s Office of Graduate Admission and other private entities.
Emerson Encore Scholarship
The Encore Scholarship demonstrates Emerson’s commitment to helping our most recent undergraduates and graduates stay competitive in the job market.
Merit-Based Scholarships
The Office of Graduate Admission awards numerous Emerson Community Scholarships each year to new student applicants. All applicants are automatically qualified for a scholarship upon applying regardless of deadline. There is no additional paperwork to fill out. No scholarship will be awarded for a value that is higher than the cost of tuition. Students are notified if they are awarded a scholarship when admitted to Emerson.
Private Scholarships
Private scholarships are awarded by various organizations, private agencies, foundations, community-based organizations, and civic groups to help worthy students meet the cost of attending college.
Restricted Scholarships and Other Funds
Emerson College has a number of restricted scholarships that are awarded to eligible students, according to donors’ standards. All graduate students are automatically considered for assistance once they complete their applications. There is no separate application for restricted scholarships.
