Graduate Tuition and Cost

We have an institutional commitment to making an Emerson education a valuable and affordable option—charging less for tuition than most of our top competitors.

To figure out the total cost of your graduate education, you must take into consideration direct costs (i.e., tuition and fees) and indirect costs (i.e., the cost of living in Boston). Tuition for graduate students is based on a per credit cost. For most programs, there is great flexibility in the number of courses you take each semester, allowing you to budget according to your needs. Tuition is usually set in early March for the following academic year.
